Bird Photography - Central Coast - Postponed due to COVID 19
Covid 19 rules allowing - the aim is to spend quality time by Tuggerah lake where we may find Egret, Spoonbill and many other species. If we are lucky we may also spot some Raptors.
We will then move on to spend some time with Australian Spectacle Pelicans and Silver gulls.
The day will conclude with some time together processing images so bring your laptop along with Lightroom if you have one. (Windows or Mac)
We will be catering for just 4 photographers to make sure you get quality time with your workshop leader.
You ideally need a single lens reflex camera with a telephoto lens 200mm or greater.
A 70-200mm lens with a 1.4x or 2x converter would work well and longer lenses if you have them.
Lunch will be provided.
Bring your camera gear, hat, sunscreen and plenty of water.
POSTPONEDBird Photography - O'Reill's Rainforest Retreat. 22-24 Sept 2023
This VERY special workshop is held at the magnificent O'Rielly's Rainforest Retreat at Mt Lamington QLD.
This place has such a diversity of bird life and is a bird photographers paradise. We will be staying on-site at the resort to maximise the opportunities this place has to offer. Your days start with Regent bower bird feeding and a guided group walk with one of the park rangers.
Evenings are typically spent editing and discussing the days achievements.

Fast lenses are a benefit here due to the low light available under the rainforest canopy.
This is a 2 day workshop and you will be responsible for getting yourself there, accommodation meals and expenses.
